I ran into this line at Bloomingdale's and knew at first touch it was for me. I like a plain, classic looking towel that is soft with plush loops, but NOT TOO THICK. They don't quote the gram weight (GSM - grams per square meter) but my guess is something like 550 or 600, which is perfect. Towels that are too thick never dry properly and take up way too much space in the washing machine! I also love the size of the bath towel, 27 x 54 inches. The "bath towel" size has been creeping larger with some brands for some unknown reason. If one wants a larger towel, buy the bath sheet! Anyway, I am happy that Frette created this line and appreciate the reasonable price point. Will be buying more!

If you enjoy luxury towels that are lightweight but dry you off fast, these are the towels for you! On the other hand, if you like chunky, heavy spa towels, keep looking.
